The Talk Communication Management module combined with the Document and Work flow Management module are especially designed for operational excellence.

These modules fully integrated with the front and back office operational functions, are used for processing, follow up and management information.

Business Process and Call Centre functions

The Document Management module, the Communications Module and the Work Flow Management module of Talk or fully integrated with both the front and back office benefit plan administration functions of Talk.

All communication, whether it is incoming or outgoing, whether it is by ordinary mail, e-mail, fax, phone, text messaging or other are stored in the communications module and the document management module while business relevant meta data are stored with the documents. Incoming communication (for mail after being scanned) is directed automatically to the communications module and the work flow management module for processing, follow up and management information.

Work Flow Management

The work flow component of the Talk Software application is an essential element for effective Business Process Management. It enables the organization to describe in Talk how work is defined, allocated, routed and scheduled.

As such Talk Software has advanced work flow functions including

  • Defining the sequence and conditions upon which work flows
  • Handling the routing of work between resources (people, systems or machines)
  • Manage the order in which these tasks are handled including possibilities of parallel work flows
  • Enabling the Workflow Manager to monitor and reconfigure the flow of a business process as needed
  • Delegating tasks relating to a specific user for a user specified period due to, for example vacation leave, with audit trails
  • Viewing work flow tasks by user groups, users with advanced drill down functions
